Keyboard and mouse suddenly stop working (SuSE 9.0)

I just installed SuSE 9.0. Everything works fine, but after a while (sometimes 30 min, somtimes 2 hours) my mouse and keyboard stop working. The OS continues its business as usual, except for the fact that I have no input left! I don't know what may cause this problem, but it's pretty annoying .
So if anyone has some tips in mind...

Thanks a lot,
