kernel3.4-based machine crashes on reads using sata6GBPS pciXpress card

Greetings,

I m new to this list. I have a machine with these:-
-cpu -amd64 4-cores
-os -cblfs kernel3.4.x
-sata3 -pciXpress card ( PEXSAT32 )
-url for card ( please copy broken line below in your browser )
http://www.cclonline.com/product/425...-Card/CNT1075/

I am currently attempting to transfer files from the computer to another machine. It is performing writes to the other machine.
The source machine crashes (network goes dead ) reporting 'evedev bug' or somesuch after ~3.1gbyte (tested thrice). The same machine acted as samba server and kept crashing when clients performed reads.

I would be grateful for any advice/possible diagnosis of the problem and even to fix it. If it is a 'sata-card' problem, suggestion of a better sata pciXpress card would be appreciated.

Sincerely
luxInteg
