Kernel upgrade then sound stops working

Hi,
I'm using Slackware64 13 and upgraded the kernel to 2.6.32.7 yesterday afternoon. The audio was working just fine in the previous kernel (2.6.29.6).

The following error occurs on alsactl restore:
Code:

I also installed the latest alsa-drivers package but that didn't seem to have any effect.

So, it was early this morning when I was working on this. Didn't realize my headphones were still plugged in...audio works fine. My apologies for the spam.
