Question kernel for 29320 Driver...


i īve used the follow:
adaptec.s root=/dev/sda1

after boot, I, try: fdisk /dev/sda
and I got the message: UnAble to open /dev/sda.

kernel 2.6 is function now.

I take it a 29320 is a scsi hard disk? If so there are modules you can load that should come wth your distro (unless you've compiled your own kernel) that take care of scsi hardware. Which kernel are you using?
