kernel 2.6.34 with modesetting enabled ati raedon 3400

quick question for anyone who has tried have you successfully got it to work? works fine in 2.6.33.5, 2.6.34 causes my display to completely black out, cant even get a terminal or any information. i use the same config file for 33.5 as i do for 34.

im just seeing if anyone might have had success thanks.
