kernel 2.6.26 with nvidia/ patch?

Nvidia installed fine with 2.6.25, but I remember there being a patch.

Is there a patch for the 2.6.26 kernel?

I got the new 2.6.26 kernel and compiled it with the new GCC and installed. When I try to run the NVIDIA installer it fails to build nvidia.ko. Any luck, patches, or tricks for installing nvidia with the 2.6.26 kernel?

AFAIK, they just recently released 2.6.26, maybe NVIDIA hasn't updated their driver yet. Check the NVIDIA website and see if the newest driver supports the new kernel.

I'm guessing that they don't fully support it yet.

Nvidia has a beta installer that worked well with the 2.6.26 kernel.
