keeps rebooting after input/output error

I get an input/output error while im booting the box and it continues to reboot on me. ive ran e2fsck -c but when it comes back online i get an error and to enter a password to go into maintence mode.

anyone know how to get my filesystem back correctly so i can get the server up and running again...
thanks

I'm not sure but I had a similar on an appliance server, which was actually caused by multiple procesees running on the same port.

Just a thought,
