running fedora 4 core stenz and is wondering how i can test the graphic exceleration rate on my graphics card, or AGP i have manged to get it installed and is working fine otherwise.
Then that sounds about right for the 5 series. I would reccomend if you got a few extra bucks going with the 6400/6800 if you want to upgrade here is my glxgears output
32253 frames in 5.0 seconds = 6450.600 FPS
36368 frames in 5.0 seconds = 7273.600 FPS
36772 frames in 5.0 seconds = 7354.400 FPS
36998 frames in 5.0 seconds = 7399.600 FPS
36722 frames in 5.0 seconds = 7344.400 FPS
36691 frames in 5.0 seconds = 7338.200 FPS
The utility glxgears is not a true test. It only shows OpenGL is working. I suggest running benchmark scripts in Unreal Tournament or Quake to test the video card and system.
