I just installed Mandrake and firefox and thats it so far...
I have NForce 2 chipset and a AGP NVidia 5900Ultra. I downloaded the drivers off of nvidia.com I'm very new to linux and don't know how to make these drivers work if someone could point me to a tut or just tell me what to do that would be very helpful.
I also have a USB headset plantronics (DSP400) that doesnt appear to work with linux, I looked for drivers but couldn't find any...
So what should be my first step here, do I need to update mandrake like windows is when you first install it?

The search feature for the forums isn't working for me right now, else I'd post some relevant links. Try it yourself. Maybe you'll have better luck. There hav ebeen many posts on the nvidia driver installation, though.
