JetFlash 220 8GB with biometric
Hello to all of the Linux Gurus out there.
First of all i wanna thank to all of you for this forum that have helped me a lot in the past.
Now, i have a usb pen drive that is from Jetflash and it comes with a biometric sensor, so nobody can see the info of the pendrive unless i sweep my finger on it, or put the password.
This is how it works on windows:
The pen drive is detected as 2 devices, one CD-ROM and the flash drive. The flash drive looks empty, unless I execute the application that is on the CD-ROM partition.
The aplication ask for a password or my finger, and after correct input the flash partition show the data on it.
Now, the question would be if is there a way to do this on linux?
When i plug the pendrive to my linux box, the system detects the CDROM partition and also the blank vfat partition. As the application that asks for the password or finger is an ".exe" file, i can not execute it.
I have been thinking of using wine, but wanted to know if someone out there has been through the same.
Thanks for your help
