Is there any way to configure different video cards to different settings in Xorg?

I have a USB stick with Ubuntu. I use it to start different computers, which have different video cards. When i go from a machine with nvidia card to one with intel graphics, having setup nvidia in xorg.conf previously, i have to reconfigure Xorg to some different virtual screen size, resolution and some other settings. Is there a native way to configure different video cards with their own settings, not having to reconfigure xorg each time i change my video card? Native - i mean it shouldn't require me to write any wrapper script, etc., just usual way of configuration.

You can put in multiple InputDevice, card, & monitors. X will use what it finds. Suck it and see.
