Wink Is there any laptops I should steer clear of for Linux?

I am thinking of buying a second hand laptop for about €500-600 and would like peoples opinions on what to get or what not to get. I don't want it for games but I will be running Linux Mandrake 9 maybe and possibly dual booting with some windows version. I will be using it mainly for uploading photographs, burning cds/dvds and the internet. Has anyone any suggestions? Thanks all the help will be greatly appreciated.

Stay away from SIS chipsets. The video card you should get is nVidia. nVidia video cards does make easier to install and setup TV out or DVI. All notebooks with that has nVidia card and any chipset besides SIS costs over +1200 US dollars or +1013 euros.
