Is there an apple xserve clone?

This is totally silly, but it's true that people are impressed with things they don't understand...

As half show-off-to-clients and half I-like-pretty-lights, When I build my next file server, I'd like to make some sort of Xserve-like box with LEDs that show the amount of disk activity on the raid - not just that the raid is active (what I have now). Does a box like this exist? (Preferably with lots of hot-swap bays up front)
