Angry Is the Ryzen7-5800h compatible with the KERNEL 6 ?

I'm about to buy a brand new laptop with r7-5800h cpu and I wonder is r7-5800h compatible with any linux distro? I did not find any results even though I searched the internet.

You can use https://linux-hardware.org/?view=search to find out which distros people are running on specific hardware.

Here's the results for that processor: https://linux-hardware.org/?id=cpu:amd-25-80-0-ryzen-7-5800h-with-radeon-graphics

The spread of OSes listed means you wont need 6.0, but you can click through to see which kernels people are actually using.

Note: the search isn't perfect - searching for "ryzen 5800h" doesn't match, but "ryzen 7 5800h" does.

Also, note that just because a result says "works" doesn't mean the whole system works - try searching for the specific model laptop you're interested in, and checking multiple probes to see if there are any parts marked "failed" or with notes on necessary workarounds.

Also, the official AMD page for the Ryzen 7 5800H states:

When RHEL and Ubuntu are supported, that means a cutting edge kernel is not required, and that plenty of other distros will work too.
