Is the motherboard ASUS m2n8-vmx compatible to install Suse Linux 10.2?

Can somebody help me and tell me if the ASUS m2n8-vmx motherboard compatible to install Suse Linux 10.2? Coz i try installing it on my computer having this motherboard but the progression of installing was jes 1/4th and it got stuck. Is there a way around to install Suse Linux on such a motherboard? Your kind help will be very much appreciated... frm a Linux Novice (on the verge of being acquainted with Linux)

The asus M2N line have nvidia chipsets which are supported by the linux kernel. So you shouldn't have any problems with the installation.

Which part of the installation did go stuck on you? And have you tried taking a SuSe Live DVD ? Or knoppix ?
