is Paradyne modem good for linux?


hey I am in iran , I want to get ADSL internet, the ISP , told me their modems are Paradyne and they are External modems ... will it work with Linux ?

anybody has expreieance with Pardayne External Modems ?

they told me they have both USB and Ethernet kind . which one would be better? [my Asus motherboard has a lan card]

LAN is always better.

As for compatiability, so long as they use a known standard like PPPoA or PPPoE for authentication, you should be just fine to use it in linux, I would think.
