Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Question Is it possible to get vsync working on the sub-resolutions of a netbook (intel xorg)?

There is this little netbook and it has this for video:
Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS/GME, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller

Vsync only works on native screen resolution but not the other, lower resolutions, such as 640x480.

Is vsync in these other resolutions unsupported by this driver?

=-----------------

It seems like a bug with SDL. If I switch res with xrandr, vsync works correctly.
