Is it possible for a LVM group to span multiple raid devices?

I rebuilding my server and I wanted to get the best use of the diskspace.

I was wondering if I could have an LVM group span mulitple raid sets.

sdb1 = 80gb, sdc1 = 80gb, sdd1 = 120gb, sde1 = 120gb.

sdb1/sdc1 striped (0) = md0
sbd1/sde1 striped (0) = md1

can md0 and md1 be grouped in the same LVM?

Well, physical volumes on different disk devices can be used in the same Volume Group, so the answer should be "yes".

Absolutely. Be aware, however, that a single drive failure MAY cause loss of data for all volumes in that group.
