Is DDR4 A Synchronous DRAM?

hello

I need to upgrade my PC. The ram it uses is DDR4 SDRAM 2666MHZ.

I've seen some ads on amazon. But they don't have the words SDRAM or Synchronous.

I see DRAM only. Below is an example ad description
Quote:
v-Color 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2666MHz (PC4-21300) CL19 1.2V U-DIMM Desktop Memory Ram Upgrade Module (TD48G26S819-VC)
It says DDR4 DRAM. Is this DRAM synchronous even though the word synchronous is not use? There are many ads like this.

Thanks

I went to newegg and it appears SDRAM and DRAM are different.
Here is one listed as SDRAM and another as DRAM
Code:
G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2666 (PC4 21300) Desktop Memory Model F4-2666C18D-64GVK

Crucial Ballistix 2666 MHz DDR4 DRAM Desktop Gaming Memory Kit 32GB (16GBx2) CL16 BL2K16G26C16U4B (BLACK)
I have no clue what the internal differences are.
