Is an I5-4670 a drop-in replacement for an i5-4570

Can I do this? I won't get the additional clock speed, but it's a little better otherwise, right?

The only differences are the CPU Clock freqencies, 3.2/3.6 vs 3.4/3.8, and the now obsolete OEM pricing:

Thanks. I read a few comparisons that reported other differences in performance; they must all have been due to speed.

And for future reference with a very few exceptions if the socket is correct it will fit and work. There are a few oddballs with the right socket on the mobo but require a bios upgrade to read the stronger chip. Can't imagine this is still a problem though. Happened a few times to some folks on another forum I used to visit a number of years ago.
