Is an ASUS Notebook a good buy?

I'm planning on buying a notebook computer. After comparing prices, feats and so on, I settled for a ASUS A6U computer.

My question is whether this model, and ASUS notebooks in general, are compatible with linux. Or put it the other way, does linux run without problems on these machines?

Thanx in advance
