Ipod: Rockbox vs ipodlinux vs Apple Firmware

While both Rockbox and Ipodlinux are great, they eat your battery life like there's no tomorrow. I can get 8-10hrs out of my iPod with the Apple firmware, Rockbox drops that to about 3hrs and Ipodlinux about 2hrs.
While they're both nice to play with and can do extremely cool things, neither is really a viable option yet as a replacement for the Apple firmware.

hummm, i'm experiancing much better battery life on mine... haven't noticed any difference from the apple firmware.
Anyway, guess not a lot of people use rockbox and ipodlinux...
