iPod Mountpoint Automatically Erased, Unable to Mount Again.

Today, I mounted my iPod (2G MB Model) the method at http://everydaylht.com/howtos/deskto...ouch-on-linux/ . It was working with gtkpod, but gtkpod would occasionally crash. I accidentally bumped my iPod and it disconnected (it wasn't synching) and then gtkpod crashed. I opened gtkpod again, and I tried to sync. It said this:
Quote:

Please select mountpoint and your iPod model.
I did, and it said:
Quote:

Error initialising iPod:Problem creating iPod directory or file '/home/Jack/ipod/iTunes_Control"
And I had my iPod mounted at /home/Jack/ipod. I tried to find it on File Browser, but it didn't show, even after checking "show hidden files and folders." I am also not able to create it again using mkdir, not even as su. Why did it delete and how do I create it again?
