ipod firewire slackware error


Im having problems mounting my 20gb Ipod on my Slackware 10.2 box. when I do a dmesg after connecting I get this:

any ideas as to what those invalid lines mean? Ive tried mounting it to ever device I can think of. /dev/sda sdb sdc and so on.

I don't have a usb device connected at the time.
