Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Iomega Buz and Fedora Core 4 with MJPEG

Hello:

I am trying to get an Iomega Buz to run under Fedora Core 4. I have the zr36057 device listed under my hardware profile in KDE. I have downloaded source code to MJPEG tools and compiled/installed. Now with lavrec I am getting error:

[root@localhost downloads]# lavrec -fa -d1 -U -n128 /root/downloads/eric.avi
**ERROR: [lavrec] Error opening video-device (/dev/video): No such device
++ WARN: [lavrec] Not ready for capture (state = 0)!
Segmentation fault

I have created a video device as described in the Buz docs from this webite where video is linked to video0. I think it is not mounting...do I have to add something to fstab - or do I mount it another way??

Thanks,
