Internet on my Palm Pilot not working over bluetooth.

About one month ago I got a Bluetooth USB adapter for my desktop. I did this for my Tungsten E2 Palm Pilot. Anyway I set it up using this tutorial. http://howto.pilot-link.org/bluesync/ga.html

It worked wonderfully. The internet, hot sync, and even obexftp (through software called Blue Files).

Sidenote: This sidenote must be read. I have a Slackware box. And I download the bluez slackware packages. However these packages were adopted from debian packages and rc.d doesn't always know what to do with the startup script. It's starts bluetooth but not hcid sdpd and dund. I have to start these manually every time I reboot the computer so it's quite possible my problem has something to do with this. Also the dun file in /etc/ppp/peers/ is exactly how the author of the tutorial has his. I know are computers or network are not the same but I stress that internet did work previously.
End Sidenote

Anyway, I had to do a hard reset on my palm pilot and I had to restart my linux box. So I went through the tutorial again and once again everything works except the internet. I wasn't sure if it was just Blazer (browser that comes with Tunsgten E2) so I tried a program called CheckWWW for my Palm. This program is reporting a DNS timeout when trying to Trace www.google.com.

Someone please help me figure this out.

Hey Nymusicman,
I also have a Tungsten E2, I am trying to get the internet to work on it. But as far as your side-note, there is a script in /etc/rc.d/rc.local in which you can put ANY script in and it will run that script on startup. Just a thought for your box not starting all the necessary daemons.
