Hello everyone,

Currently I am using Windows XP SP2 + Mobile Maction MA-620 IrDA + Airtel Mobile Office inetrnet connection to surf internet.

I am a newbie for linux. Just last week I got my Ubuntu 6.06 LTS Live cds and I want to access internet on it as I've heard that on Linux Internet access in more safe and fast.

On executing lsusb after booting from the cd it shows "Mobile Action MA-620..." Now, what should I do next so that it recognizes my Nokia 6020 Modem and how to setup to access internet?

I've posted this query before in Ubuntu forum but in vain.

Don't know this stuff! Dumb question, but what is the exact method of connecting to the computer - IrDA? And was this software provided by the ISP or is it public software?
