Intel X3100 video card doesn't work on Fedora 7-Xen

Folks,

I bought a Toshiba Satellita A200-1I7 with a Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 (GM965 chipset).

While Fedora 7 without Xen boots fine and recognizes the video card, the Xen-enabled version doesn't and falls back to text.

The first error message shown on screen is: "GARTInit: unable to open /dev/agpgart (no such file of directory)".

I am rather puzzled by the different behaviour between the two boot types: may someone kindly cast some light on this issue ?
