intel pro/wireless 2100 3B no interface found


hello,
i have a wireless card intel pro/wireless 2100 3B built in my laptop,
and i'm using suse 10. i can't use this device, but it's detected in
yast. in boot screen there is message "wlan: no interface found"
and in dmesg and var/log/messages there a

i've tried to reinstall the ipw-firmware on yast, unzip downloaded ipw-firmware from sourceforge in /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/ but with
no luck,

please help me, i want to use wireless in linux (it's working in windows)

i tried to use linuxant driverloader from www.linuxant.com,
but it says that device not found, well like i said before that
in the boot screen there is line: no interface found,
is it really that i don't have any wlan card? but it's working
in windows and yast detects it too,
please help...

....well, i finally get my card to work... not using ipw but ndiswrapper instead,
but...do you think it's ok to use ndiswrapper? as i feel...itchy to use windows-related programs...
