intel pro 3945abg wireless card driver problem

I am able to make my wireless card work manually with fc5 installed on hp dv5000 after a lot of struggle. But anyways can anyone tell me how to automate it. Network manager does it automatically and when i select the found network, it asks me for the key and when i enter it and press ok, it says
SET failed: invaid argument
no link present, check cable.
unable to determine IP address.
But it detected my wireless n/w.
any help how to automatically load this when booted with this probelm fixed.
