Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Hi Suhrud,

following the details from http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centrino#Napa or http://www.zdnet.co.uk/reviews/mobil...form-39245725/ you can see used Chipsets and so on.
I only found entries which should work with x86 Linux.
Hope that helps.

Greets

Yes it will, the Napa-platform is build around the Core Solo and Core Duo processors. These are x86 processors, so any 32 bit-Linux for x86 should run fine.

Without a known test then no one could say. Are there any reports of pass or fail?

I see no reason why Linux should not run on a Centrino/Centrino Duo-laptop. Napa is only an internal name for that platform.
