Question Intel 845GL not work with XFree86 4.2

I installed Redhat 8.0 on my laptop of acer TravelMate230.
And Intel 845 cannot work well.
I found i830 module at intel.com and downloaded and installed.
But X can use 640x480 only. What can i do for it now?

try using the vesa driver instead. to configure it, run this as root:

redhat-config-xfree86 -reconfig

(um, is that -reconfig or -reconfigure? hah, i'm in a windoze machine right now - try 'redhat-config-xfree86 --help' to verify.
