Angry Intel 536ep v92 modem under RedHat 9

Has anyone managed to get an Intel536ep modem working if so how??

Mine dials up (very loudly!) and cuts off after one web page has been loaded. Then it seems to crash and i cant get it to redial

Also what should flow control be set to?

Unhappy Sorry

I don't know anyone that has been able to that...

I suppose you have downloaded and build the linux drivers for it available on intel's web-site. If you have, i think you are lost.

Only solution that I know of this problem is to get a non-winmodem modem...

Take care...
