Thanks for that. I need to run chkconfig and it's not having it at the moment. I need to suss out how to translate update-rc.d into chkconfig syntax. Will try when I have a little more time.

I think I might have the same problem as you as I have an Zepto 6024W and an error saying "special device /dev/hda does not exist" when I try to open the CD-Rom drive.

I have downloaded the file from your site, but I cant seem to get it installed (or what it is that is needed), I just get an:
anders@anders-laptop:~$ tar -zxf ich8m.tar.gz
tar: ich8m.tar.gz: Cannot open: No such file or directory
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
tar: Child returned status 2
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors

Any advice on what to do then?
