Installing web cam ?

Greetings all,

I purchased this new webcam (Sanwa CMS-V23SETBK) and when I plugged it in the dmesg is like following: (Debian Lenny)

[ 484.272084] usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 5
[ 484.463078] usb 1-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
[ 484.466508] usb 1-1: New USB device found, idVendor=0ac8, idProduct=307b
[ 484.466520] usb 1-1: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0
[ 484.466526] usb 1-1: Product: PC Camera
[ 484.466530] usb 1-1: Manufacturer: Vimicro Corp.

Does kernel has accepted my new webcam? I tried with skype but it didn't detect it.
Any tips on this?

Thanks in advance.

it needs some spca module...that is from 'idVendor=0ac8, idProduct=307b'. Install that with apt-get, or compile

also post the #lspci output
