Question Installing Slackware w/SATA

I'm going to attempt to load Slackware "this is my first Linux experience". I have SATA drives ONLY! Ifound this on another site:

Better yet, if you have a floppy drive available then here is a sata.i boot disk I made from 2.4.25 that is also patched for the SI 3114 controller. It has ICH5, VIA, Silicon Image and some other controller (edit: ServerWorks) enabled as part of the kernel. Also in the same directory are rootdisks install.1 and install.2.
/~briankat/slack/ICH5.i (only has ICH5 controller enabled in it)

/~briankat/slack/sata.i
/~briankat/slack/install.1
/~briankat/slack/install.2

Update: I redid the above sata.i becuase I mistakenly did it as a user and it didn't work right. redid as root and scriptx is installing slackware right now

Use either rawrite in dos or dd in linux and create your bootdisk and 2 rootdisks then boot from the A drive and follow the directions. You will still need the cdrom for the rest of the install and the part where it asks about what kernel to use... well use the one you booted with. I used these to get a fellow with a Silicon Image SATA 3114 controller to work successfully. It should also work for the fellow trying to get his 3112 controller to work. Hope this helps you all out.

Now comes my question do I start with the CD and at a certain point try and load the drivers from a floppy or are these bootable floppys that start first. Sorry I had to remove the URL since I'm new.
