Question Installing SiS650 graphic adapter on RH9

Hi folks,

I have Redhat 9, and in the list of display adapters, there is included a bunch of SiS drivers except the SiS 650. So after a bit of research, I've come across a website which had a sis_drv.o driver which supposingly I had to replace with the existing one in the /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/ directory. AFter backing the original sis_drv.o and copied the new driver to the drivers directory, I still cannot find the SiS650 display adapter in the control panel list. Am i missing another step??

PS: I'm currently using a VESA driver, which works fine, but 3D games or screensavers are really slow, so that's why i want the appropriate driver.
