Installing PROMISE SATA 150 TX2 plus on FED4
I had promise sata 150 tx2+ that I'd like to install with FEDORA4,havent got the recent driver yet.
Anyway the vendor gives the driver for R Hat 9 or 8,does it work for FED4?
I need to know coz I aint wanna mess up my system.
Any comment/help would be greatly apreciated.

promise sata
Very new to linux, but how about some food for thought? I just installed FC5 and my promise sata controller as well as my via sata controller were auto detected on the install (get a clue m$)Perhaps an upgrade to FC5 would be just a little more trouble than trying to get a driver for FC4. Just my  |

The HDD was detected during Instalation but it's not there on Xwindow.
