Installing network card

First of all let me apologise for being thick secondly for my typing and spelling skills. Now that's out the way PLEASE HEEEEELLLPPPP.

I have a cheap ass laptop Pii 266 MHz 4.1 GB HDD 128 MB ram I have just installed Linux Xandros on it and it got all the hard ware except my network card witch is a D-Link DWL 610. I have done some research with the aid of google and found it is supposed to be compatible with the realtek 8180 chip set and the D-link DWL-510. So my question is how do I change the driver in Linux to tell it to use the realtek 8180 drivers or the DWL-510 windows has a device manger HEEELLLPPP.

Thanks

Hmm, that's a lot running - the question is which driver is it starting instead of the one you want. On the above list can you identify it? If so you could blacklist it in /etc/hotplug/blacklist (this is where it is for Slackware) so it doesn't get loaded. I had to do this so my sound card and alsa would work as another driver was interferring.
