Installing Mobile Intel 915GM on Suse 9.2

Hi all,

I tried to install the video card mentioned in the title by using this instruction:

http ://

Before the installation I've made the you-update so that kernel-default and kernel-source have the same versions (2.6.8-24.14).

During the installation I got this message:

ERROR: Kernel modules did not compile

The DRI drivers can not be installed without the latest kernel modules. Installation will be aborted..."
Does anybody know what to do? By the way I'm a complete newbie in Linux..

I'm having a similar probelm with version 9.3. I think it's because on Suse 9.2 and up is used instead of XFree86. I'm not quite sure what to do from here, but I'm quite certain that's why problems are occuring.
