Installing Linux on a dual processor machine (only one processor detected)

Hello!

I recently aquire an old IBM Netfinity 3500 with PII dual processor and 128 MB of RAM.

I installed Linux (Red Hat 9.1 Shrike) and the system sees only processor 0.

Any guidance will be most appreciated. I've never installed Linux on a dual processor machine.

You need to compile your kernel for SMP. Though Redhat 9 should have SMP kernel version on the CDs.
