I have WinXP installed on a SATA RAID0 setup (SIS 180 RAID controller on an ECS755-A2 motherboard).
I have installed a further HDD on IDE bus, which i intended to use for Linux, with a partition assigned also to Windows.
I tried to install Fedora Core 2, booting from CDROM, but anaconda only sees the IDE drive. I can use Disk Druid to create partitions etc on the IDE drive, but i want to be able to dual boot into linux/winXP. I would really prefer not to have to install the IDE drive as my winXP boot drive if i can help it...
Anybody give me some advice please? (i'm pretty much a newbie so simple words would be nice).
many thanks in anticipation.
Steve.
