Installing FC2 on NTFS PC - do I need to reformat?

Hi I'm, purchasing a laptop and a multiprocessor dell and will put FC2 on both. I'm a newbie so please excuse my ignorance, but if they come with NTFS, do I need to reformat the disk to be FAT32 before I start the installation procedure? Or will it do that for me? Or do I even need to reformat?

Thanks for any help,

DeanB

FC2 will do it for you. In case you don't want to lose your windows, make sure to defrag befoer installing and resizing the windows partition with the tools FC2 offers

Oki thanks! Do you know ifl the installation will give me the opportunity to repartition the hard drive, or is that a separate and prior step?

Actually never mind this is a new purchase and I don't think we are keeping Windows. But I'll keep it in mind.
