Installing Drivers on Ubuntu

HI

Im new to linux ubuntu and i need to install this HAMR56 modem driver for my modem to work but i dont know how to install the driver. i have read the readme file many times over but i have still no idea how to install the driver. Please would it be possible for someone to tell me how to install it,
