Question Installing ADSL on RedHat 7.2 ???

I have a USB ADSL modem ALW070.
My operating system is RedHat 7.2.
How do I install the modem?
I need a detailed explanation - I don't even know where to begin.
I also don't know how to make a connection to my Internet
supplier after I will install the modem.

http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Cable-Modem/index.html

read that, come to the realization that you made a mistake somewhere down the road getting a USB cable modem.

then read:

and you'll probably want to read:
