Installing A Via Rhine III as a second network

Hello All

Just installed slackware 10.0 on my system , eveyrhting went fine as far as i know except that it won't detect my second network card wich is a Via Rhine III.
here is my system configuration
amd athlon xp 2000+
2*512 meg ram
40 gig seagate baracuda
A7V8X-Mx SE with integrated lan , sound , vga

after installation i'm able to use to integrated lan port wich is base on the VIA VT6103 (seems to be a Via Rhine II)

I checked what would happend when i type lspci and i could not find my second etherne controler. any idea how i could fix that issue?

As for those who wants to know why i would like to use a secound network card i want to make that computer a file sharing server as well as a router.

thanks for the help!

Possible causes:
1. Didn't install the card correctly. Shutdown the PC and reseat the card.
2. Need to disable Plug and Play in the motherboard BIOS.
3. There might be an IRQ conflict?
