installation of mandriva 2006 free fails...help
 

To begin with, i m a new user for linux..trying to switch over from windows
i m trying to install mandriva 2006 free version and the installation fails after i manually partition the disk,giving an error " no hdlists found "..i have ample of disk space and mine is a compaq p4..
help needed urgntly..thnx in advance!!!
