I'm really new to this whole linux thing, especially when it comes down to installation of hardware. I have this laptop (HP dv2035LA) a friend of mine told me about the versions of linux that can be installed on USB Drives, so I read about it and did it. Now I've been reading about how to install my wireless card but I just get confused. I was wondering if anyone of you can help me!! I'd really appreciate it!! Thanks in advance!!

Wireless card is Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG
Besides having the Intel wireless driver You need the firmware image too.
google a bit for the program called 'firmwarecuter', it extracts firmware images out of the OEM win-driver.
