installation issues Gigabyte motherboard


Hi,

I have redhat linux As 4 update 6,7,8.

While installing it gives driver issues " driver not found"

Even i am not able to get the installation screens.


I have Gigabytes motherboard

We need to know which mainboard you have exactly, just the brand is not helpful.
Usually those messages appear if the OS is to old for the hardware. Since RHEL 4 is end of life for the normal support cycle (only the extended support, which has to be paid extra, is still available) you should consider an upgrade anyways.

i have tried rHEL 5 as well. But the same problem.

This OS is imp for me as i have many Oracle softwares to install on it.

Oracle software will run on newer OSes, too, if you use recent Oracle software.
But anyways, without knowing which hardware you want to use we can't help you.
