Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Installation issues

I recently installed Mandriva LE2005. I have 2 SATA HD in RAID 0 that contain my Windows installation. In addition to that I also have a 30gb IDE drive. On installation I chose to install Mandriva on the 30gb IDE drive WITHOUT touching the SATA drives. I have my Mandriva installation working perfectly. However my 2 SATA dives do not show up at all (physically and as one logical unit). I shut down my computer, disconnected the IDE drive (basically putting it physically back the way it was) and tried to boot off the RAID configuration. 0_0 Now my Windows installation is nowhere to be found and when running any thing I can (Bart PE, Windows installation disk) the drives show up but they've been changed somehow and I cannot get my Windows installation back. Any ideas?
